August 23, 2011 Susitna River Valley to Valdez

We woke up near the Susitna River Valley and then drove to Valdez. On the way there we pulled off at two beautiful waterfalls, Bridal Veil Falls and Horse Tail Falls. We also stopped at the famous tunnel that was never finished. When we arrived in town it was later in day so we went to "Old Town Valdez" and then out to eat at the Mexican restaurant. We stayed in the one and only RV campground here! The weather was a little rainy but we still enjoyed the beautiful view and all the amazing history.















Yes, Ryan is laughing extremely hard because I just pointed out that he put Brayden's shoes on the wrong feet! Brayden was confused why Mommy and Daddy were laughing so hard!
